A new visual database on Helisim’s COUGAR L1/L2 and EC 225/725 simulators:

The new Helisim visual database has been designed by HELISIM and manufactured by THALES. It has been especially developed in cooperation with Navy and Army Aviation pilots, in order to allow for the training of pilots and their TACCOS.

In order to reach this goal, the new visual database offers:

- Eighty specific objects (fighter jets, battle tanks, MANPADS, APCs), and the highest number of Navy-specific objects available worldwide (frigates, survivor at sea, trawler, supply ships, submarine, aircraft carrier, etc...)

- An unmatched level of photographic detail (12.5 cm image resolution in cities) which surpasses all other NH 90 simulators in the world.

- Possibility to train & land in detailed urban areas as well as in mountainous & naval environments.
